New Shaker Sets!

Each week I've been trying to add new salt and pepper shaker sets to my store, Jendee Stores. New this week is a cute chicken set. I love the fact that the salt and pepper shakers are actually eggs and the chicken is holding them!

I found some new and great salt and pepper shakers! Some of them like this birdhouse set I added to my store. I love how so many different things can be turned into a salt and pepper shaker set. There is probably a set out there for every person no matter what their decorating preferences are.

Why collect salt and pepper shakers?

I collect salt and pepper shakers mainly because they are fun but for the sake of this blog I tried to make a little list.

3. Interesting
4. Easy to display

I enjoy finding new and cute salt and pepper shakers. An extra level of fun comes when the box arrives in the mail and you get to open it up. All of the shakers that I have gotten so far have looked better in reality than in the magazine or online.

So far the most I have spent on a salt and pepper shaker set is $19. This was for a crystal set that I found at an estate sale. I got it so cheap because I waited until the last day of the sale and they had almost everything marked down by 50% or more.

Salt and pepper shakers are interesting because there are so many different designs and colors. They make for interesting conversation pieces also. All of my shakers are displayed in my dining room so they help spark dinner conversation.

Displaying the salt and pepper shakers is so easy. They fit on small shelves so they can easily fit on different spots around the dining room. The nice thing is that they fit where other things like plates can't fit.

I am so happy that I have been able to offer salt and pepper shaker sets in my store. I find it easy to sell stuff that I love but yet difficult when I don't have the money to buy one of everything for myself. :)
